What happens after booking?
Now that you have booked with us, we will need just a few more things to make sure your night goes smoothly.
#1 Client Questionnaire: This will be sent to you in an email. This can be filled out over time and SAVES automatically. Fill it out as you do your planning. We ask for this to be turned in two weeks before your wedding date. You can also access this through the Client Portal. You can access that here or at the bottom of any page on our website. The Client Portal has your contract, invoice, allows you to make payments and this questionnaire.
#2 Make a Timeline: At some point during your planning, more than likely you will be making a timeline. When you have finalized this timeline please send us a copy through email. The timeline will be very beneficial for us to help make your night go smoothly. We like to call the Timeline an Order of Events for the reception. This is because, we feel that as the bride and groom, you should not stress about the exact time of when things happen at the reception. It is time to relax and enjoy the night. Let us help to determine when is the right time for the next event during the reception, so that the night flows well, with out being rushed or dragged out.
Possible Order of Events: based on a 6pm dinner with guests arriving at 5pm. Times would be adjusted to your event. We can add/change this anyway you would like!
2:00 - Sound Waves Next Generation arrive and set up
5:00 - Background music will be playing with guest arriving
5:50 - Intro of wedding party
- Toast (work well before serving food because we have everyones attention)
- Prayer (if wanted, right before dinner is served)
6:00 - Head table eats first (Sound Waves Next Generation will release tables following head table unless someone else is hired to do this)
- Cake Cutting( Give people time to eat and then Cut Cake)
~ 20 mins after Cake
- Bouquet throwing, then Garter Toss
- First Dance
- Father Daughter Dance
- Mother Son Dance
- Wedding Party Dance
- Dollar Dance
At this point sit back and relax, dance and just enjoy the night
